SubmitBio is a playlist promotion platform that connects independent artists with playlist curators. Our service allows artists to submit their music directly to curators for potential playlist placement, while providing curators with a streamlined way to receive and review submissions.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Creation

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Artist Responsibilities

• Submit only original music or music you have proper rights to promote
• Provide accurate metadata and descriptions for your submissions
• Respect curator guidelines and submission requirements
• Make payments for submissions as required

3.3 Curator Responsibilities

• Review submissions in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate playlist information and submission guidelines
• Connect legitimate Spotify accounts and playlists
• Comply with Spotify's terms of service and platform policies

4. Payments and Fees

4.1 Submission Fees

Artists may be required to pay submission fees to curators. All payments are processed through Stripe. Submission fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

4.2 Curator Earnings

Curators receive earnings from artist submissions. Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect. SubmitBio may retain a service fee from transactions.

4.3 Referral Program

Users may earn commissions through our referral program. Referral earnings are subject to our referral terms and payout schedules.

5. Intellectual Property

Users retain all rights to their original content. By using our service, you grant SubmitBio a limited, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the service.

SubmitBio respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. We will respond to legitimate copyright infringement claims in accordance with applicable law.

6. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third-party platforms including Spotify and Stripe. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. SubmitBio is not responsible for the policies or actions of third-party services.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Submit copyrighted material without proper authorization
• Create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Spam curators or other users
• Attempt to manipulate playlist placement through artificial means
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

SubmitBio provides the service "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration will take place in the jurisdiction where SubmitBio is headquartered.
